hi. i just got back frm iium(international islamic uni). was there for a debate tournament.
okay the trip was okay. 'cept for the last day(yesterday), which im quite sure was the worse day of my life.
*i know its a rather long entry... so haha, whoever who actually reads it till the end i salute choo.
Day1(THURS 12th april) -
we didnt want to take the STF bus like last year so this year we took the public bus, frm larkin station. i swear man, its the LAST time im doign tht everrrr again.
met up at the bust station at 10 o clock at dunkin donuts as planned and of we went to search for our bus. found the bus and i was like okay.
we all had like luggages(D'oh we were going to be there for like 6 days) michelle had like TWO massive luggages. and we brought stuff like pillows and a lot of food. cause iium's food sucks and their bedsheet and pillows , EW.
so basically we have a lot of bags. then when we reach the bus, i wentt like, "okay great soo.. whos going to load our bags?" and then the other passengers just stared at me, right and teacher said "uhm you have to load it yourself-lah."
so we loaded our bags, which wasnt easy trust me and okay the ride to kl was a-okay...until we reached puduraya. we had to carry our very heavy bags off the bus onto the station up and down stairs jostled ard by random shmelly men. URGH.
and finallyyyyy we found the iium ppl who were supposed to bring us frm the station to iiu. so there was supposed to be four cars but there were only two cause the other two took a wrong turn so we waited for like 20 mins and finally we all got on and off we went to iiu.
then attended the championship dinner and so tired we were, directly after tht we all hit the sacks. end of day1
Day2(FRI 13th april) -
woke up early at like, 0545. okay if you've read my earlier post on my trip to iiu last year, you'd rmb how i whined abt the cold water. okay. this year its not the same its WORSE i fuckin swear man, the water was like minus degree celsius. at 545 in the mornin. i was whining WHINING in the shower and michlle was screaming like no ones business !
i rrly dont know how we survived, rrly. so anyways we got ready and left for the debate workshop. this year there was altogether 80 schs ! massive participation.. but. no st xavier. i know ! the three years in a row winners ! so it was like everyone had a chance in winning. so anyways debate workshop deabte workshop then round 1. we went against this kinda lousy sch and won. motion was "this house would allow Mat Rempits to race"
round 2 against SAS (yes the same sch with the same first speaker who popped a pimple with his hand while debating- they actually made it to the finals this time ard)we lost but it was on a close margin so we werent rrly upset. plus they were rather good. motion was "THW cap number of subjects taken for SPM" so yeah. end of day2.
Day3(SAT 14th april) -
woke up pretteh late, at like 6.30 i think, and had a FREEZING shower again. i even washed my hair okay. i rrrly dont know how i did it. so anyways, took the last bus at 7.30 and started round 3 at like 9 o clock. we won this round. motion was " Thou shalt not choose your genes"
then round 4 was against this rather good sch the motions were so difficultt. motion no1 was "THW support free trade" (we debated on this one) motion no2 was something abt eco labeling cant rmb. and motion no3 was something abt the EU doing some subsidizing on agriculture thingys. OMG right.
so anyways we won! but the adjudicator was rather harsh. he was all like this wasnt a good debate it wasnt even decent .. ... ... but whatevs. we won ! then round 5 we went against this lousy team the theme was humour means you were supposed to make the adjudicators laugh but still at the same time have a professional round.
okay i was DAMN DAMN FUCKING UPSET with this round. i tot it was one of our best rounds and the adjudicator can seriously go fuck himself. we were so good it was SO obvious we should have won. the other team even knew. they were so shocked they won. FUCK la. the adjudicator was laughing at our jokes okay and our points were SO much MUCH MUCH more solid.
i was beyond upset. i fucking sobbed my eyes out and pls take note i didnt even cry when we lost to ec. if it wasnt for this round we would have made it so much father im very sure. so EAT SHIT ARIK YOU LOUSY BIAS STINKING BASTART.
okay. deep breath. walao, rrly injustice is extremely annoying. BUT ANYWAYS after tht we went to megamall to chill and relax and had pasta and i met up with teh mumbler. yay ! end of day3
Day4(SUN 15th april) -
had round 6. okay this round the theme was politics and it was rrly tough. seriously. motion no1 was "THB tht kashmir should continue to be a part of india". motion no2 was "THB tht UN should intervene in Darfur despite Sudan's objections" and motion no3 was something abt shiekh hassan and somebody somebody being some president. cant rmb. anyways bloody OMG right !
so we debated on the kashmir being a part if india wan and we WON ! we didnt know anything but we won and the other team wasnt even like lousy. they were actually quite good. then round 7 we went against this sch which was the nicest to debate with among allll the rounds, St. Michael. the boys were very polite and nice and gentlemanly. uhhuh. so yeah the motion was "THW support media blackouts in times of war"
and we won ! it was a good fight and they were very gracious losers. so yeah. out of 7 rounds we won 5 and we got into the double octos ! how awesomes tht right ! we were ranked 16th out of 80 schs ! it felt great tht all our effort actually paid off. so we went against team 17th and we won ! the motion was "THWnot allow celebrities to adopt children" so we won the double octos which meant we qualified for the OCTO FINALS !!!!!!!
WE ACTUALLY MADE IT TO THE OCTOS !!! and then we went to klcc to have dinner in Madam Kwan's. super duper good food mhmm. and oh haha on the way back in the lrt which was extremely packed, i was squashed between some NOT hot angmoh and some girl with ultra bushy hair it was so farney- not for me tho. i hate lrts. and lmfao. michelle's head was directly under the angmoh dudes armpit she could even see his blond armpit hair, ewww ! end of day4
Day5(MON 16th april) -
first and foremost, happy birthday to aaron my retarded but quite lovable older brother.
okay. OCTO FINALS !! we were going against TEAM RANKED NO1 ! mckk. this team actually won 7 out of 7 round wei. and the motion was "this house would make annual enviromental service compulsary for all citizens" okay. we lost in this round but i tot it was okay. cause we got so far and it didnt matter rrly.
the only thing tht actually bothered me was tht this team, they werent rrly like good. we expected them to be well, better. i mean yeah they were good but we just expected better. and we could have won but nvm. we made it to the octos and tht was beyond our expectations already. grin. so after tht we went off to klcc to chill for 8 hours lol.
i met up with my fish, QITING ! and the other girls watched hannibal rising. lol they kept on going on and on abt the cute actor who bit out his victims cheeks after tht, lmfao. so yeah. day5 was good. but towards the end i felt slightly sick. i mean i woke up with a sore throat and when we were leaving klcc i felt a fever coming on. tskkk. i fell aslp with a fever. end of day5
Day6(TUES 17th) WORSE DAY OF MY LIFE -
OKAY. i woke up feeling like i was in hell. literally. i was running a fever and my friends let me sleep in while they went on to watch the debate finals. so i slpt until abt like 10, then i took a cold shower which was actually good for me lol.
then packed my stuff and slept summore till the girls came back then our nightmare started. rmb we are a 7 ppl group and we have a LOT of baggages. so we carried our bags down all the way to the bus stop, then took the crazy bus to the lrt station then took the lrt (with our crazy big luggages) to masjd jamek and frm there took another lrt (again with our crazy big luggages) to puduraya then carried our bags up and down up and down stairs
.. and finally . FINALLY thank heavens, we reached the bus station place. okay it was hell. SERIOUSLY. summore i was sick okay. fever and sore throat and flu and whatnot. i swear i am NEVER EVER doing tht again. EVER. so anyways it doesnt end there. we took an immediate bus back to jb and not only tht the stupid bus was like a fucking sauna, it broke down. YES it did, first at the side of the highway then it wobbled... to some god forsaken rest area.
the kind tht mom and dad would never stop for fear of being robbed. so we were stranded there for abt 3 hours. SERIOUSLY. and just when things cannot, just cannot get worse. it started raining. i swear man. michelle can even say it was romantic. LOL. so yeah finally another bus came and we transferred our luggages in tht heavy rain to the other bus and settled down. okay it was nice for the first hour, i slept then i realized it was becoming hotter, like the air con was blowing air only.
so stopped at some restaurant area in yong peng for like 30 mins. (we remained on the bus) and when it was time to go, the bus dude had trouble starting the bus. I KNOW RIGHT. FUCKING SUAY LAH. but finally he started the bus and off we went and then suddenly.. just outside.. on the yong peng highway the bus stopped again on the roadside and i tell you its damn dangerous can, everytime some lorry or bus zooms pass the bus the whole bus would be like shaking..
and then after like 15 mins the bus finally starts again and guess what, NO AIR CON! walao, we were like all suffocating in tht STUPID bus all the way for like 90 mins till home. CONCLUSION : NEVER EVER TAKE KONSORTIUM. IT IS THE SPAWN OF EVIL. we took two buses and both broke down. wtf right. damn suay lah.
so finally FINALLY. FOUR hours after the actual scheduled time to reach, we arrived in larkin. and i tell you ladies and gentleman, i have never. ever. been so glad to be home. HOME SWEET HOME !

Hey! guess who's back with a brand new track post.
hah. so yuh. im back well sort of. cause i never was rrly uhm gone.
ANYWAYS. i've been RRLY busy, teachers piling up hw like no ones business and debate season just started and tuition and i've gots no more me time anymore ! urgh. butbutbut on the other hand. i love the feeling of debating again. the adrenaline rush, poi papers –grin- ..
&&& Chinese new year’s just ard the corner ! mahjong ! and food ! And money ! :D
Plus the one week holiday I can spend with teh Mumbler ! haha..
and the boys of course. geesh miss em like feck.
tinkie is no longer stylo ! katok cut his hairrr ! cher’s… cher’s… cher’s… uhm.. grounded ! lol but he’s rrly happy with his uh honeybun so yuh. Heeee.

hello ! okay i know this post is wayy overdue and im sorry :(
anyways, as i promised, this entry is gonna be abt my genting+sunway trip ! my dad♥ brought us 'cept aaron who didnt go cause he had a levels and everything (bet he threw a party, got high on weed and robbed a bank while we werent home but yuh.) so we went with.. like 3 other families including RACHEL ! and we met rachel's cousins angel jasmine and joey then too. they are the sweetest :)
so yeah.. genting was well, cold. and the food was darn good. lunch at rainbow, dinner at olive.. mhmm. i took the ferris wheel ! (fyi: i'm terribly afraid of heights) i shut my eyes the entire time we were up there and it was pretty okay .. i guess >.< other than tht I didn’t rrly take many rides which was a waste of money I know, considering daddy paid for the all park tickets. But yeah I queued like 30 mins for a 3 min bumper car ride and than was considered a short wait ! and carrying Rachel ard is not joke. She may be cute and small but she is darnnn heavy and when she gives me the jie-jie-im-tired-carry-me look I just cant refuse her :/ so yeah. plus all the walking ard .. by the end of the day I was fucking bruised all over. And my lungs were burning with all the talking and screaming I did frm the rides I did take.
Alsooo, there was this halloween bash thing going on and ppl were dressed up like zombies pontianaks and ghouls going ard scaring ppl..butbutbut i plucked up enough courage to take a few pictureeees !
the place was brimming with ppl cause apparently there was this old woman uh singing. and uhm yeah lots of old ppl. and couples and KIDSSSSS ! i stayed up with angel♥ till pretty late both nights we were there. we had so much fun ! :D pity she didnt come with us to sunway .
so! the third day at sunway, we checked out and headed to sunway got there about 4.. 4+? the place was swarming with Indians. No seriously. I wouldn’t call myself a racist.. ( uh not rrly anyways) but there was a frightening amount of uhm Indians. yeah. so I didn’t rrly have a lot of fun then cause the queue to all the rides were crazy long and there was just A LOT OF PEOPLE pushing here and there. AND on top of tht it suddenly rained so we had to go back early. Urgh. So I rrly just spent my time there baby sitting Rachel the adorable. Which was what made everything worthwhile actually :D Rachel fell in love with the wavepool ! she was so cute trying to fight the waves and everything.. awww.
Dinner at Xenri was AMAZING. I swear it was one of the best meals of my life. Damn I love Japanese food. The sashimi and sushi and noodles. Mhmm! For those out there who don’t eat raw fish, you don’t know what ur missing out in life :) but nvm all the more for meeee !
Then the next day we checked out and headed to times square where dad wanted to bring Rachel and Nicholas to watch open season in the imax theater. I was rather bummed that we wouldn’t go shopping but yeah turned out to be not so bad after all. The theater was damnn big with nice springy chairs with big armrests and it rrly was 3D ! esther was like a retard when the movie just started, trying to reach out and grab thin air. But yeah the show was okayyy I guess not as good as over the hedge tho. Hmm.
So yeah. tht’s abt it . my glamourous holiday. ceh :)

dances, vocal solos , rap and band performances by
various schools.
There will also be stalls selling the
award-winning hotdogs (quantity doubled this year
due to overwhelming sales) and refreshments.

i had the most awesome day of the month. so far anyways. ^^
went to the FOA auditions, not bad.
some were good, some were okay. and some were just blegggh.
so yeah, i saw panda! but he's not performing. shame tho.

for vocals, suelynn and vanessa was uhhhuh, good, so was fareez but.. sigh.
so yuh.
then afters, i went to cs with suphier!

honestly, i've suffered for three freaking days. i think i ought to at least be given credit for tht! ^^

i fell aslp trying to memorise whats in Angkor Wat(epik Ramayana and Mahabharata), yesterday night. and woke up amongst my books at 2.30 am. then i set my alarm at 4 am woke up then and snoozed till 6. i have great disciplin, dont i ?
sheesh. let me tell you. it never ever ever ever works.
this, wake-up-at-four-your-mind-will-be-clearer-thing. trust me. even if, IF you manage to wake up at four, IF arhh.(hah. i bet you cant) this stupid thing is a bluff. you'll just fall back to sleep. forgetting everything. including whats 1+1. rrly!
so yeah.
eeks! i totally blanked! i've got physics exam tomorrow!
